Leadership. Process. Communication.

Leading teams, driving goals, and executing at a high level, for me, it all comes down to these three things. And it comes up in my posts regularly. Of course, every situation is different. Every team has its own rhythm. But these pillars hold everything up.

Process
🎯 Process only works if it’s grounded in reality.
🎯 Process only works if it makes things easier, faster.
🎯 Process only works when people buy in.
🎯 Process only works when it’s supported from the top down.
🎯 Process gives everyone a clear sense of where they are.
🎯 Process gives people more freedom to do great work.
🎯 Process helps teams focus, align, and execute.
🎯 Process helps teams celebrate progress.

Communication
🎯 Communication only works when it goes both ways.
🎯 Communication only works when the intent is positive.
🎯 Communication only works when delivered with empathy.
🎯 Communication only works when the message is clear.
🎯 Communication only works when it’s safe with no fear of retaliation.
🎯 Communication only works when it’s consistent.
🎯 Communication only works when there’s a point.

Without each of these pillars, you’ll always have cracks in your foundation. But when they’re strong, almost anything can be built on top of them.
