CBRE: Deal iq (lead generation management)
Deal iq broker lead management
As Head of Design and Director of UX/UI for CBRE Dev, a product and development team designing software solutions for internal and external clients, I was in charge of building and managing the design and ux research team.
Our main product, Deal IQ, was designed for company brokers to manage their client businesses. Before Deal IQ, brokers would use a variety of tools to manage their day-to-day work. With Deal IQ, they can complete all of that work in one place, as well as have access to internal company resources and financials around their deals.
Designers were placed within engineering scrum teams allowing for close collaboration; giving them the ability to quickly effect UX/UI changes, ensure our style guide and design patterns we’re applied consistently, and keep everyone across teams engaged in the process.
Integrated designers, engaged engineers, and building relationships with our users have produced a tool that consistently gets positive feedback and is continuously setting usage records for the team.
User journeys, personas & usability testing
We conducted numerous research studies, both remotely as well as locally. The product team operated on a “user-driven” design approach leveraging user-feedback as the driving force for features and product enhancements. Understanding the user, their daily workflow, allowed us to develop an experience that streamlines their day-to-day processes, leaving them more time to help their clients.
